CalculiX 1.8 is a game where you will need to solve math operations. You will need to type the results of the mathematical operations that will be scrolling through the screen. You will have to input the results in order, a tilde will mark the operation whose result you´re supposed to enter first. Or, you can click on the operation you want to solve, and enter its result. The interface is a little weird. All the graphics are made with a pen, over a card stock card. The author writing is awful, as he says in his site, so it´s sometimes difficult to guess the numbers in the operations. The screen can´t be maximized. When you miss to input the result of an operation, you´ll lose a life. Missing three operations means that the game is over. You´ll be awarded with points for accuracy and fastness. The game has some nice background music. It has 5 levels of difficulty (the last 2 are locked at first, but will become available once you´ve played for some time). The game can be played in English or French.
